Private embodied movement Sessions
in-person or virtual
PRIVATE sessionS mAY be for you if…
You have a full life and want support that meets you where you are, without having to manage anyone else’s energy or attention.
You’re curious about what your body may already be communicating and want space to gently listen, sense, and understand yourself more clearly.
You’re noticing patterns that feel automatic or hard to interrupt, and you’d like support in slowing them down with care rather than force.
You’re ready to relate to yourself with more kindness and less self-criticism, and sense there may be a more supportive way to be with your inner experience.
You’re drawn to these practices but feel more resourced beginning one-on-one, where there’s no pressure to be seen, perform, or participate in a group.
You want to work with stress, overwhelm, or trauma responses through a body-oriented approach that honors pacing, choice, and your nervous system’s capacity.
You’re interested in building a more trusting and compassionate relationship with your ever-changing body.
You’re ready to take up more space in your life and explore what it feels like to notice, name, and honor your needs in a supported setting.

Who is Steph Strauss?
My work integrates Somatic Experiencing, embodied movement, and mindfulness. This weaving allows me to bring together nervous system awareness and lived spiritual practice in a way that is grounded, relational, and embodied. These practices have supported me in reconnecting with my body, my sense of aliveness, and my inner knowing, and they continue to shape how I meet others in my work.
I relate to life itself as practice. From a Buddhist perspective, I experience life as a living curriculum that continually offers opportunities to slow down, listen, and respond with care. This orientation informs how I work with others, with respect for timing, pacing, and the innate intelligence of the body.
Inspired by the principle of bodhicitta from Tibetan Buddhism, my work is rooted in a genuine desire to be of service. I am committed to creating spaces where people can feel safe enough to arrive as they are, to settle into their bodies, and to explore what supports them in sustainable and meaningful ways.
I find deep fulfillment in supporting individuals as they develop greater nervous system regulation, self trust, and connection from within. Rather than focusing on fixing or changing anyone, my work centers on building capacity, honoring choice, and cultivating a compassionate relationship with inner experience. Over time, this approach supports resilience, healing, and a greater sense of ease in being oneself.
